Se quiser cantar, leia apenas as partes que estão azul. E, lembrem-se, esse foi o modo que li e entendi. Considerem sempre que algo pode estar errado, afinal, estou estudando! Estou apenas compartilhando um pequeno material e uma boa música.

So this is odd,
the painful realization that has all gone wrong.
And nobody cares at all, (“nobody cares at all” = “ninguém se importa mesmo“: dá uma reforçada na afirmação)
and nobody cares at all.

So you buried all your lover’s clothes (“buried lover’s clothes” = “enterrou as roupas do seu amado”)
and burned the letters lover wrote, (“burned” the letters = “queimou as cartas”) (muitas músicas tem essas palavras, é fácil decorar)
but it doesn’t make it any better.
Does it make it any better?
And the plaster dented from your fist (plaster = gesso) (dented = a depression in a surface) (fist = punho)
in the hall where you had your first kiss
reminds you that the memories will fade. (“will fade” = “desaparecerão”)

So this is strange,
our sidestepping has come to be a brilliant dance (“nossos passos para o lado viraram uma dança perfeita”)
where nobody leads at all,  (“onde ninguém conduz at all“: olha o ‘at all’ novamente.)
where nobody leads at all.

And the picture frames are facing down (picture frames = “porta retratos”) (are facing down = “estão virados para baixo”)
and the ringing from this empty sound
is deafening and keeping you from sleep.  (“deafening” = “extremely loud”) (“keeping you from sleep” = “te impedindo de dormir”)
And breathing is a foreign task (“foreign task” = “tarefa desconhecida”)
and thinking’s just too much to ask
and you’re measuring your minutes by a clock that’s blinking eights. (o relógio está quebrado)

This is incredible.
Starving, insatiable,
yes, this is love for the first time.
Well you’d like to think that you were invincible.
Yeah, well weren’t we all once before we felt loss for the first time?
Well this is the last time.

Acabo de pagar o IPVA 2012. Paguei à vista. Entenda o motivo…

Olá.

Bom, acho que não há mal nenhum em revelar o valor do meu IPVA 2012: R$ 923,01 à vista / R$ 951,54 parcelado (3x R$ 317,18).

Pensei em parcelar, para conseguir dar uma respirada nos primeiros meses do ano, já que também temos o IPTU, seguro do carro, e algumas continhas a pagar no início do ano.

Após ler o texto “Entenda o truque do IPVA parcelado“, mudei de ideia. Paguei à vista.

A diferença, em reais, é pouca? Sim, é pouca. Mas, para mim, o que conta é a charmosa %porcentagem.

Afinal, 2,33% ao mês (na minha conta deu 2,35% – o quê fiz de errado?) não é pouca coisa. E mais dinheiro é sempre bemvindo.

E, é claro, nem todos tem R$ 900 e poucos para pagar à vista. Como eu consegui? Bem, gastei somente o necessário (um boa ceia de Natal) do meu 13º salário. Uma – mais uma – opção minha. A sua pode ser diferente.
